How the numbers work
You set your own charge. When you add a unit on Roov, you can add a Tenant Service Contract Charge next to the rent and caution deposit. Tenants pay it once a year, and they see it on the listing before they pay.
The charge is all yours. Roov does not take any part of it. When a tenant pays through Roov, the money goes straight to your bank account, usually by the next working day.
Roov charges ₦2,000 per tenant each month (₦24,000 a year). This covers marketing your vacancies and the tools you use to manage your tenants. You pay it when a tenant accepts your invite, and it covers the next twelve months.
What is not included
- Rent. It goes to the landlord, not to you.
- Caution deposits. Tenants get them back when they move out.
- Any fee you agree with a landlord outside Roov. Add that on top of your total.
